I hope that everyone enjoyed THANKSGIVING. Thanksgiving is SO IMPORTANT not just for one day, but all year round. We could really use more of it, especially during Christmas. There is too much "buy buy buy.... get get get" syndrome at this time of year. I find it very frustrating and tiring, and it gets worse every year. It makes Christmas so hard to enjoy.

 

Speaking of Christmas, (which a lot of people aren't these days), Christmas is about CHRIST. That is probably why more and more retailers and such are saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." It's ridiculous! Target, Sears, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Lowe's, and others aren't mentioning Christmas at all. I guess we could all see this coming. Little by little, the world is phasing out Christ as the end times come nearer and nearer. It's sad, but it was all foretold.

 

I know I am going to do my best to stay away from these retailers. I don't spend much on gifts anyways. I got most of my shopping done anyways, and most was online. However, I do still have to shop at Wal-Mart, because it's the most affordable place around. I don't know where else to shop!! There aren't many alternatives. What a pickle!!

 

Well, all we can do is pray and keep the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts. At least they haven't cancelled the Charlie Brown special yet. That's the only one that talks about what Christmas REALLY is. ALthough, they do tack on some extra new animation afterwards that include Santa and such. But, I suppose we should be grateful. ALl the other "HOLIDAY" special feature Santa and such. Just remember whose Birthday it is, and WHY we even have this "HOLIDAY" to begin with!!
